PeopleCube
Company Mission
Since its founding, PeopleCube has been committed to developing solutions that improve the productivity of a company’s key asset: its people. The company’s first products - its popular calendaring and scheduling solutions - have always focused on the business benefits of improving individual productivity. Building upon this expertise, PeopleCube has created a family of applications that have firmly established it as a leader in Human Process Management (HPM), the next-generation of Business Process Management (BPM). Human Process Management focuses on the core role of individuals in the business process.
PeopleCube is well suited to lead the industry into the era of Human Process Management. PeopleCube’s solutions optimize people, processes and schedules - helping organizations to proactively manage their businesses, reduce costs, increase efficiency and improve productivity.
History
PeopleCube was founded in 2001 as Meeting Maker, Inc. and grew into an international organization and a leader in critical time and resource management solutions.
To help achieve its original vision to develop solutions that improve the productivity of an organization’s individuals, PeopleCube set out upon a strategy to expand its company and product family through in-house development as well as acquisitions. It acquired four companies within a two-year timeframe:
RedESoft, WebEvent, CEO Software and UK-based PeopleCube. These acquisitions solidified the company’s technology expertise, customer base and robust product line. The acquisition of PeopleCube and its ProcessCube BPM application (formerly known as PeopleCube 3.0) in the fall of 2005, along with PeopleCube’s scheduling and calendaring solutions, solidified the company’s role as a leader in the Human Process Management segment of the BPM marketplace.
The privately held company based in Waltham, Mass. has averaged 36 percent revenue growth during the last three years, and has added more than 1,500 clients in that timeframe, totaling more than 7,500 customers. With its rich heritage and solid base to build upon, PeopleCube will continue to evolve and offer advanced HPM solutions that remain true to its mission: to improve the productivity of an organization’s key asset - its people.
Market Overview
According to BPM.com, some analysts are anticipating the Business Process Management market to reach $4-to-$6 billion by the end of 2005. BPM delivers strong ROI and has one of the highest compound growth rates in the software industry. However, BPM has been missing a key element: the ability to integrate people into the business process. This key element is what Human Process Management offers. Until now, most BPM software solutions have focused on managing documents or activities within a process, and primarily viewed human resources at a group level. They were missing the ability to drill down to the individual level and view the productivity, progress or resources of the individuals who participate in a process.
PeopleCube brings this new level of individual integration to the industry. Professional services firms, call centers and other organizations that have people-intensive processes use PeopleCube solutions to automate highly complex business processes and gain visibility into individual schedules and skill sets. Using real-time analytics and dashboard capabilities, managers can proactively plan, measure and adjust workloads and resources to meet or exceed service-level agreements and key performance indicators. HPM has applications in business process outsourcing, shared service centers, human resource administration, consulting and logistics management, among other people-intensive business functions.
The market for on-demand, or hosted, business applications continues to grow as businesses see the benefits of this delivery model and the significant return-on-investment (ROI) it offers: On-demand solutions are rapidly deployed, they require minimal IT time to install and maintain, and they are easily accessible to internal and external employees and partners. PeopleCube is delivering its solution, ProcessCube, to customers using an on-demand delivery model. To best meet the needs of customers, several of PeopleCube’s calendaring and scheduling applications are being offered to customers through an on-demand delivery model, as well as through the traditional software licensing model.
